The Position: Position General Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including product vision, and working closely with development, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. This position will also be responsible for working across the organization to help drive and develop market/customer insight and satisfaction and promote overall adoption, revenue, and profitability for the products. The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the overall strategy of FLVS. Essential Position Functions: Define and communicate the overall product strategy and roadmap Calculate return on investment (ROI) for product offerings and the impact on student success and conduct analysis of product success Develop the strategic direction of product lines, with a projection of vision and markets Lead ongoing market research efforts to understand and articulate market conditions and opportunities to define product direction in response to market and competitive needs Deliver required documentation, including prioritized features and justification, ensuring that products lead the market in innovation and performance Work with internal teams to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities with third parties Collaborates with internal teams to develop the core positioning, key benefits, and go-to-market strategy for the product. Collaborate with internal teams to recommend pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals Serve as the internal and external champion for products, maximizing customer satisfaction, and working with key customers Contribute to ongoing product innovations, and identify product expansion opportunities Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner, and demonstrate respect for others All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established (These essential functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. Minimum Requirements: Education/Licensure/Certification: Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Experience: Five years as a product manager, project manager, or marketing manager, preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA's): Ability to work with and through people to establish goals, objectives, and action plans Knowledge of and ability to apply product management principles, analysis, and practices Knowledge of communications and marketing principles and practices Knowledge of budgeting principles and practices Knowledge of and ability to apply project management principles and practices Knowledge of and ability to apply customer services principles and procedures Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in education Ability to prioritize tasks, managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, growing environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to analyze and interpret data and make appropriate recommendations based on findings Ability to conceptualize new ideas, research the new ideas, and evaluate them objectively from market and financial standpoints CORE COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS: COMMUNICATION SKILLS Clearly and effectively conveys and/or presents information verbally;
