JOB SUMMARY
Redbud Roots, Inc is looking for a Part-Time Facilities Custodian to join their growing team. The Part-Time Facilities Custodian should have attention to detail and complete tasks assigned by the Director of Facilities to monitor and maintain the organization, cleanliness and efficiency of production and office areas as well as maintaining all state sanitation logs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean all building locations floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitize identified areas to meet GMP standards and maintain cleaning logs.
- Maintain and update MSDS Binders to MIOSHA standards.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using cleaner and sponges or squeegees.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.
- Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma required
- Prior manufacturing sanitation experience a plus
- Must have a strong work ethic and ability to work well on a team
- Must be detail oriented and self-motivated
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facility
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to complete essential job duties
- The ability to see details at close range.
