Primary Purpose:
The E-Commerce Marketing Specialist helps facilitate vital functions that support online sales and product content relevancy by analyzing and optimizing product assets (such as imagery, descriptions, star reviews, etc.) on retailer websites and other digital sales platforms. This is an individual that will help increase online visibility, and ultimately market share, by ensuring online product content is accurate and up to date.
Job Description:
- Responsible for daily Ecommerce activities of accounts that include all product marketing assets, data capture, item set up, back-end portal updates and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Responsible for overseeing workflows between Engagement Specialists and Coordinators in updating retailer product detail pages and providing action items for improvement on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for overall product data input into back-end retailer systems such as (but not limited to) Sydigo, Atlas, IDM, CHUB, WPengine, HomeDepotLink, Retail Link and other ecommerce setup portals.
- Responsible for overseeing accuracy of product information, imagery and content provided to customers and end users by all Engagement team members.
- Works cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering and Sales Departments.
- Communicates directly with Director of Marketing as well as executive leadership on updates or changes in customers' digital content.
- Takes initiative to develop supporting processes or documentation to create a smoother engagement workflow with internal team members and external retailers.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Working knowledge of e-commerce data management systems or online item set up portals (Such as, but not limited to, Sydigo, Atlas, IDM, CHUB, WPengine, HomeDepotLink, Retail Link, etc.).
- Must be able to gather information from multiple departments and team members in a timely and accurate fashion to complete product set up deliverables.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat.
- Results orientated with a keen eye for details.
- Adept at creative thinking, problem solving and flexible in a constantly changing customer marketing environment.
- Passion for customer satisfaction and effective account engagement.
Preferred:
- Specific work experience with Big box retailers' data managements systems.
- Experience with digital communication platforms such as BazaarVoice, WordPress, various social media networks and MailChimp.
- Experience with tool and equipment manufacturing categories extremely helpful.
Education/Certification:
College degree in Marketing/Digital Communications preferred or equivalent work experience as listed above.
