Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded senior financial analyst to join our finance team. This senior analyst will be a critical contributor to the ad-hoc financial analysis of the business with significant visibility to the leadership team. Tasks will vary from M&A analysis, market segment insights, pricing strategies, enterprise reporting across all the functional groups, ad-hoc financial analysis within each division, and other requests from senior leadership. Additional finance responsibilities will include assisting with financial planning and budget processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developing financial models, preparing projections for broader finance organization.
Successful candidates should also have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
- Point person to cross-functional senior leadership for data requests and ad-hoc analysis such as, pricing, enterprise manufacturing reporting, CRM reporting, etc.
- Serve as chief information consolidator for all the enterprise strategic initiatives and KPI reporting
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and present financial insights from multiple sources of information
- Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis
- Analyze and report on current financial status and historical trend data
- Compare anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement
- Critical contributor to budget consolidation, preparation, and analysis
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions
- Collaborates with appropriate staff to gather input and feedback concerning business reporting needs and recommend gaps/opportunities for thorough review
- Actively engages with leadership to identify areas to of opportunity, drilling into financial results, and communicating insights
- Ability to evaluate a market segment, such as market sizing, SWOT analysis, competitive benchmarking, and go-to-market strategies.
