What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Tax Accountant position at Focus Search LLC?
Focus Search LLC is recruiting for a Corporate Tax Staff Accountant role with a publicly traded company in Portland. This role will assist with a wide range of tax items, including Tax Provisions and Compliance, corporate tax policy & planning, and other Direct tax compliance needs. The company operations are diverse and dynamic, and provides a unique exposure to a wide range of tax topics and projects. The team is fantastic and provides great room for growth, with excellent opportunities for mentorship. This is a hybrid role, working in-office two days per week.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- 2 busy seasons in public accounting ideally in Big4/Large Regional
- Good exposure to ASC 740, preferably with publicly traded corporations
- Strong work ethic and good communication skills
