Fogelman, a nationally recognized Top Workplace Company, is interviewing experienced candidates for a Maintenance Technicians to float between two properties in the North Atlanta area. These communities are located in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. The ideal candidate has 3 years or more of apartment maintenance experience, is HVAC certified (Type 1 & 2 or Universal), strong with HVAC, plumbing & appliance repair and is a team player.
SUMMARYThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing maintenance service requests and repairs to the buildings and grounds as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor while providing excellent customer service to our residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
Weekend work may be required.
Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
Other job duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.
