Foley & Lardner LLP is accepting applications from second-year law students interested in joining the firm's 2024 Summer Associate Program in the Intellectual Property Department, supporting our Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice Group ("METPG"). 2L Summer Associate positions are available in the following offices: Chicago, Dallas, Milwaukee and Washington, D.C.
Candidates must have a background in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, nuclear engineering, or materials science engineering. Our ideal candidates are eager to confront new challenges and responsibilities; take satisfaction in developing practical, winning solutions; value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect; and do their best work when functioning as part of a team. The firm anticipates hosting a 10-week program for summer 2024. This position is open to all qualified candidates who are in their second year at an ABA-accredited law school.
