Folk, located in East Nashville, is the latest project from Philip Krajeck, acclaimed chef and owner of Rolf and Daughters. Fun, seasonal and inventive, the menu highlights local produce, regional ingredients, and naturally leavened wood-fired pizza. Folk is a casual, lively neighborhood restaurant with an ever-evolving natural wine list and specialty cocktails.
We are looking for a talented and dedicated Chef de Cuisine to join our team. Candidates must have a drive to make delicious food, work with good spirit and enjoy being a part of a team. The Chef is responsible for the daily management of our BOH culinary team. They will supervise the production and execution of food on all stations, be responsible for leading and providing direction to kitchen personnel, as well as cost control, kitchen management, and new dish creation. Here at Folk you will have the opportunity to work closely with our local farmers, visiting their grounds and also be part of the seeding/planting programs we have developed with Rocky Glade Farm. Allowing you to truly be part of all aspects of the process to create the perfect plate. You will have the opportunity to develop your own dishes, train the staff on them and see your creativity come to life.
