- Planning, organizing, directing, and tracking all aspects of IT projects. Lead by adopting organizational change and managing change throughout the organization.
- Ensuring project delivery is on time, on budget, and within organizational performance targets.
- Work with cross-functional teams - technology, business, marketing, and operations as well as external vendors to manage multiple projects with conflicting needs/priorities.
- Ensure that project management approaches are consistent, measurable, and aligned with corporate standards and best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders and product managers to ensure that requirements are translated to the technology requirements that subsequently drive the execution (plan, coordinate, manage) of software development from design through successful deployment and realization of benefits analysis to ensure ROI tracking once the Project is live.
- Collaborate with Technical leads to define the technical architecture of solutions for services and support technical implementation and integration efforts.
- Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives consistently and transparently across all stakeholders and teams.
- Ability to align, manage, and track change across projects and manage 1M dollars in project budgets. Ensure weekly that the forecast aligns with the budget and drives staffing needs across the portfolio based on portfolio priorities.
- Strive constantly to improve and establish a new bar in performance (using objective metrics) in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include coordinating and completing projects on time, within budget, and within scope.
- Work collaboratively with business and IT partners to drive projects forward.
- Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize the progress of the Project.
- Prepare reports for leadership regarding the status of the Project.
- Ensure every week that the forecast is in line with the budget, and drive staffing needs for the projects.
- Track issues, risks, and actions, and drive these to closure with urgency.
- Create staffing plans to forecast the project budget and track actuals on Project.
- Creating detailed Project plans to track project tasks and assignments.
