POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Interior Design Project Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of all new and remodeled food and beverage spaces, as well as general construction projects, from initiation to execution and completion. As a project manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of construction projects while maintaining scope budget and project schedule. Quality control and compliance with safety regulations are crucial aspects of their role, ensuring projects meet contractual and legal obligations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project kick-off, schedule coordination, execution, monitoring project closeout and turnover
- Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Managing procurement processes, associated submittals and RFI’s to assist on keeping project on time and moving forward
- Oversee project scope, equipment lead times and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
- Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Maintain effective communication with project directors, team members, contractors and stakeholders to foster strong working relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all involved
- Manage construction project documentation, including permitted drawings, change orders and site challenges
- Attend weekly meetings with project directors to facilitate communication, address challenges and discuss solutions to ensure we meet project schedule
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including milestones, budget updates, and any significant developments or risks
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Attend all site meetings with contractors to discuss all aspects of project scope, site issues and deliverables
- Arrive at all active construction areas in full PPE from head to foot
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Must be available 24 hours to support project and construction team as required
- Support all business and Facilities Department needs
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in project management or related field preferred
- 5 years of management experience with a focus on Facilities project management
- OSHA 10 certification in General Industry required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Certified First Aid/AED permit is a plus
- Strong knowledge of restaurant improvements, general construction, health codes, budgetary tracking and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills, including effective team coordination and prioritizing tasks
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including reading blueprints, equipment specifications, proficiency in Word and Excel
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering retail projects on time and within budget
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
