POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Director of Treasury will oversee and support various aspects of treasury operations, including activities related to managing bank accounts, payment processors, cash flows, borrowings, debt, and capital management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Oversee the opening, closing and administration of the Company’s domestic and global bank accounts including bank Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) exercises
  • Evaluate and introduce new payment methods as they emerge
  • Monitor debt covenants compliance
  • Manage daily cash management activity and Treasury/Financial analysis and reporting, including distribution of incoming wires and review and approval of outgoing wires
  • Manage and maintain short-term and long-term cash forecasts
  • Validate interest charges on company loans
  • Maintain key banking and lending relationships
  • Manage relationships with credit card processors, including setup of merchant identification numbers
  • Lead the administration of the gift card program
  • Lead the administration of the Company’s corporate credit card program
  • Lead the administration of the expense reimbursement system and program
  • Support Accounting and Tax departments as necessary to ensure control compliance
  • Support Accounting department in review of short-term and long-term debt classification
  • Perform cash account reconciliations and assist the General Ledger team with month-end close tasks
  • Create and maintain Treasury policies and procedures that ensure adequate control over treasury activities and compliance with Company and SOX requirements
  • Special projects as required, including working on various finance projects, KPI metrics, reporting capabilities, and system upgrades
  • Research, identify, and lead initiatives focused on improvements to processes, reporting, and systems
  • Monitor loan compliance
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six (6) years prior experience in the Treasury department for a large-scale resort and casino while in a leadership position preferred
  • Strong operational knowledge within the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry
  • Strong project management experience and process improvement
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of Company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management, Team Members, and other outside contacts
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The position supervises all Team Members within the Treasury Department.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
