Job Position: Event Producer
Overview:
The Event Producer proactively seeks and develops relationships that lead to opportunities to provide special event solutions. They understand and utilize the sales process to find and secure sales for Food For Thought's catering division. Their works lead to realizing consistent sustainable growth contributing to the building of wealth for the company and its associates.
Support, management and maintenance of task and initiatives associated with the sale and production of private events. A member of the sales team that administratively supports initiatives for daily sales office, sales, and full service catering events.
Essential Duties:
- Exceeds annual sales goals set by leadership.
- Supports Sales Consultants book of business with operational efficiencies and specific systems designed to support the execution of all events and assist in new business development.
- Participates in regular training sessions, skill development and goal setting.
- Writes and follows through on proposals for events.
- Executes tasks to include, but not limited to: Venue sourcing, CRM management, field calls and inquiries, contract writing, menu creation, venue contracts, RFP’s, floor plan generation, service, pack lists, equipment and linens, event timelines, site visits, event/client specific notes, execution of concierge services and on-site event management.
- Creates pre-event communication to ensure execution of booked events.
- Sells all event group and workplace solutions to enhance client portfolio.
- Plans and conducts tastings to secure business.
- Participates in and prepares information for weekly menu meetings and other meetings.
- Participates in promotional and networking opportunities to support the sales effort.
