Bakery Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will work closely with our bakers and pastry chefs to assist in the production of high-quality baked goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about baking and wants to gain hands-on experience in a professional bakery setting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes
- Mix, knead, and shape dough
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment is a plus
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work with precise measurements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Salary: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
