This full time, permanent Industrial Construction Building Systems Estimating Project Manager opportunity is at a growing, industrial construction designer and fabricator of custom HVAC mechanical systems. Engineering always tries to add value to the customers existing products and as a result, the custom designed products have won many awards. The duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensuring industrial construction projects are on time and profitable
  • Overseeing multiple industrial building systems and construction projects concurrently
  • Leading a team
  • Negotiating and reviewing contracts
  • Estimating industrial building systems including refrigeration, dust collection, process piping, plumbing, HVAC and sheet metal
  • Planning and budgeting projects
  • Working with customers, engineers, and estimators
  • Leading meetings
  • Creating proposals and estimates
  • Understanding construction costs
  • Ensuring quality control and the satisfaction of customers
  • Controlling material and labor costs
  • Overseeing cash flow
  • Determining and overseeing risk
  • Ensuring compliance of codes, regulations and safety rules
  • Utilizing planning tools
  • Handling changes, various tasks and engineering teams
The background of the successful candidate should include the following:
  • Three or more years of industrial building systems estimating experience or industrial HVAC estimating experience
  • Three or more years of industrial construction project management experience
  • Possess certification(s) in project management
  • Possess to handle multiple industrial building systems and industrial construction projects concurrently
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
