Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, some schedule flexibility

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patients' mental health status, including medical history, present symptoms, and psychosocial factors
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated and holistic care to patients
- Monitor patients' progress throughout their inpatient stay, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for relapse prevention
- Document all clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner, in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of psychiatry.
- Supervision available but not required.
- On-call coverage available for an additional stipend, but not required.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) and valid license to practice psychiatry
- Completion of residency training in psychiatry from an accredited program
- Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry
- Licensed in the state of WA to practice or interest in attaining
- Strong clinical skills and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a diverse patient population
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport with patients from different backgrounds
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
- Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care
