We are a boutique immigration law firm located in Manhattan, dedicated to serving the immigrant community.
An immediate opening is available for an experienced Immigration Law Paralegal to join our dynamic and growing practice. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in immigration law, including family-based and humanitarian immigration areas, such as asylum, VAWA, TPS, waivers, paroles, cancellation of removal, and family-based green cards.
RUSSIAN OR SPANISH LANGUAGE SKILLS ARE REQUIRED. Please note that this is an in-person position.

The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, capable of managing a large caseload, able to work independently under minimum supervision, and possess excellent writing skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and file USCIS petitions/applications, including extensive drafting of supporting documents;
- Assist clients in writing statements and support letters, and gathering documents;
- Complete application forms, draft cover letter, and prepare immigration court filings;
- Respond to Requests for Evidence and file various Motions and Appeals to USCIS and immigration court;
- Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues;
- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to supervising attorney;
- Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, making copies, filing, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required;
- 2 years of business immigration experience (required);
- Ability to commute to the Manhattan, NY office (required);
- Russian or Spanish Language (required);
- Strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of visas, applications, and waivers;
- Experience drafting and gathering documentation for Requests for Evidence, Motions, and Appeals;
- Solid MS Word, spelling, grammar, and typing skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities;
- Ability to achieve a high level of productivity with accuracy;
- Flexibility and initiative regarding assignments;
- Experience managing a large caseload; and
- Strong multitasking skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year
