What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full time MA/Medical Assistant position at Foot & Ankle Clinic of Central Nebraska?
Foot & Ankle Clinic of Central Nebraska is currently hiring for a full-time Medical Assistant to work 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. This position is available immediately. Prior experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for an individual that is dedicated, reliable, and dependable.
Clinical duties include but are not limited to:
- Rooming patients, reconciling medications
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures as needed
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms
- Patient charting in EMR
- Process and triage phone calls from patients
- Track lab and radiology results
- Sterilize instruments
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- The ability to multi-task & manage time efficiently
- Computer skills & a basic knowledge of EMR
- Be a quick learner and easily adapt to change
- Possess an energetic & positive outlook, as well as be a team player
