Join our client as the Director of Power Generation, where you'll lead the development and sale of Turbine Inlet Air Chilling (TIAC) projects for the power generation market. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of interfacing with all departments, and effectively communicating both technically and commercially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the pursuit, development, and securing of custom TIAC solutions for diverse clients, including utilities, independent power producers, cooperatives, municipalities, and gas turbine entities globally.
- Manage customer relationships, guide conceptual design, and oversee technical analyses.
- Direct the estimation process, quantify risks, and collaborate with suppliers and partners.
- Develop proposal plans, negotiate contracts, and transition projects to the execution team.
- Establish and nurture client relationships within the targeted market.
Competencies:
- Strong technical expertise in the power generation industry.
- In-depth knowledge of combined cycle power plant equipment and utility markets.
- Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to write technical and commercial proposals.
- Ability to effectively interface with customers at both plant and corporate levels.
- Strong presentation skills for conferences, customer meetings, and internal leadership.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Travel
Anticipated up to 40% travel for this position. Some occasional local day travel may also be necessary. Occasional travel to customer job sites and conferences may be required.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
- Experience with gas turbines and gas turbine operation in power generation and/or oil and gas applications.
- Knowledge of the major gas turbine OEMs and their various products.
- Understanding of US Energy Markets.
- Ability to empower team and influence across departments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 5 years working experience in the industrial power generation market.
- 5 years managing or leading a team.
- Familiarity with design procedures and inter-discipline communication.
- Familiarity with engineering deliverables (P&IDs, Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangements, etc.).
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master of Science degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited University.
- Familiarity with applicable software such as GT Pro.
- Experience in a commercial or sales role
