Credentialing Specialist

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Credentialing Specialist to join our team. As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards to practice within our organization. Your attention to detail and knowledge of managed care and medical office procedures will be essential in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Duties:
- Conduct thorough credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers
- Verify and review provider applications, licenses, certifications, and malpractice insurance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in the credentialing database
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely completion of credentialing processes
- Communicate with providers regarding missing or incomplete documentation
- Assist in preparing for audits and regulatory reviews related to provider credentialing
- Stay informed about industry changes and updates related to credentialing standards
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality regulations

Experience:
- Previous experience in credentialing or related field preferred
- Familiarity with managed care organizations and medical office operations
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications (Precision, HST, Scan Chart, SN Chart, Excel)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
