To support our operational growth Forbes Bros (FBI) is looking for an experienced Fleet Coordinator for our Denver, CO office. Supporting the Fleet Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring operation's fleet requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. Building and maintain internal and external relationships. Implementing and enforcing asset management best practices, policies, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Work with operations or other departments to ensure that equipment requirements are met, as well as work with operations to understand their project schedules/requirements and adjust fleet requirements.
- Ensures all fleet vehicle information is tracked and maintained.
- Tracks spare, idle and surplus fleet; ensuring each is managed accordingly.
- Responsible for generating reports on health status of fleets, and other ad hoc reporting.
- Actively looks for gaps in vehicle & equipment related information and data and corrects discrepancies.
- Follow all Forbes policies, procedures and core beliefs.
- Be an active participant in the Fleet group, contribute to the ongoing development of the Fleet Services program.
- May be required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Equipment Files
- Asset Acquisition - Logistics
- Asset Disposal - Logistics
- Asset Lifecycle Management - Manage fleet accordingly to target asset life
- Plan and execute movement of assets for maintenance and operations
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Exposure to fleet or equipment management
- 2-3 years of experience in similar field
- Basic understanding of commercial vehicle regulations
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must possess good written and oral communication in person and telephone.
- Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to deal with fast paced, dynamic situations.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
This position requires candidates to:
- Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing to obtain clearance for site access.
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract.
- Requires regular travel to various project sites and office locations (80% travel/field)
- Complete background screening and criminal record check.
- This is a full time, salaried position paying $50,000.00 per year.
