Overview:

We are searching for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our expanding Data Team as we continue our mission to be the preferred skin care expert in every community we serve. The ideal candidate should possess experience in assisting finance and/or revenue cycle management stakeholders, be a skilled problem solver with an analytical and business-focused mindset, and have the capacity to establish robust business intelligence solutions and best practices. Our goal is to provide powerful data insights that can guide business decisions across all areas of Forefront, ensuring high-quality results and widespread adoption.

The Senior Data Analyst collaborates with key business partners to understand their information needs and delivers high-quality, high-performing, and intuitive data and reporting solutions focused on finance and revenue cycle management. Additionally, this role supports, scales, and optimizes our BI, Analytics, and reporting services and plays a leading role in designing and implementing our next-generation data and analytics platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Works collaboratively with key business partners to understand their information needs and provide high quality, high performing and intuitive data and reporting solutions.
  • Strategizes with business partners to implement new analytical approaches as needed.
  • Drives the data analytics operation forward by regularly evaluating new related technologies, staying informed on current trends, practices, and tools, and recommending solutions that will provide actionable data insights to increase profits, reduce costs, and improve efficiencies across the enterprise.
  • Responsible for analysis and evaluation of user business problems and development of system recommendations to meet requirements.
  • Collects, analyzes and communicates data in a way easily understood by end users.
  • Contributes to the design, development, adoption, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions.
  • Communicates the final solution to the business and coordinates the implementation and user training of the solution in the production environment.
  • Works collaboratively with Data Team colleagues to analyze and optimize performance in all areas of the business intelligence operation.
  • Ensures ETL processes and associated troubleshooting guides are documented and knowledge shared amongst team members.
  • Ensures data operations best practices are documented and enforced.
  • Operates as a subject matter expert, leader, and mentor to improve the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of data warehousing and business intelligence throughout the company.
  • Manages multiple priorities, assess, and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
  • Keeps our data separated and secure and adherent to regulatory and compliance obligations.
  • Works with HIPAA Expert Determination resource to ensure data is HIPAA-compliant.
  • Works with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience required.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in a complex, technical environment required.
  • 3 years supporting financial and/or revenue cycle stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture for data warehousing, reporting, and analytics, primarily with Microsoft Azure data solutions.
  • Proficient with ETL, enterprise reporting, and enterprise analytics tools such as MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Power BI Report Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Advanced working knowledge of visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik or Quicksight.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
  • Experienced in DevOps methodologies and practices such as CICD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task, focus on detail, set priorities, and work independently.
  • Above average documentation skills, with requisite attention to detail.
  • Ability to exert influence and collaborate with stakeholders to drive direction on data analytics projects.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers to resolve issues and implement business intelligence solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ability to communicate/present to senior-level stakeholders.
  • Experienced with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with a programming language/framework such as R or Python
  • Experience with the Qlik Cloud Data Integration suite.
