- Dates of Summer School: June 24, 2024 - July 18, 2024 (Monday-Thursday)
- Final Staff Work Day: July 19, 2024 (4 hours)
- Daily Schedule: 8:15 am - 3:15 pm
- Number of positions available: 3 (2 for PK-6 and 1 for 7-8)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Summer Skills Academy Lead Teacher (Temporary)
Job Description/Responsibilities
1. Lead implementation of Summer Success Academy under the direction of Assistant Superintendent and the SSA Program Lead;
2. Serve as instructional leader in summer school;
3. Supervise and observe teachers, assistants, office staff and students;
4. Communicate with parents and support family involvement;
5. Summarize summer school experience and data in a formal report format by the end of Summer 2012
6. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
1. Read, write and speak fluent English and Spanish;
2. Effective communication skills with students, parents, staff and administrators;
3. Ability to lead a team;
4. ELD teacher experience;
5. Previous experience in a supervisory position;
6. Oregon Teaching License, Master degree;
7. Systematic ELD, GLAD or SIOP and cultural competency trained
