COMPENSATION Hourly Minimum - Maximum $23.00 - $26.00 Forest Lawn is known for its beauty, green pastures and breath-taking Mausoleums. Our Maintenance Workers work hard and reliably to maintain the cleanliness of our buildings and facilities in the park and ensure that these standards are being met to best serve our client families’ needs. Maintenance Workers are responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks associated with the care of cemetery grounds and facilities, which include: General grounds clean-up and trash disposal Mowing of section and garden lawns; repairing lawn damage. Trimming memorial tablets Assisting client families with grounds maintenance requests Operating specialized equipment utilized for interments Assist with interments, set-up and clean-up before and after special events, and installing tents for funeral services Housekeeping: vacuum floors, clean restrooms and remove trash as well as maintain the churches to be presentable for services and visitations by the public. Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months maintenance, grounds, and/or gardening experience. Valid California Driver’s License Ability to lift 50lbs. Bilingual preferred Must have a caring and professional demeanor and enjoy helping families at a difficult time. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays.
