Job Posting for Director of Risk Management at Forest River, Inc.
Forest River, Inc., the Nation’s largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses, and Boats has an immediate opening.
Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain a company-wide risk management program, working to reduce risk exposure and mitigate risk.
Establish a working relationship with external service providers including insurance brokers, underwriters, attorneys, TPAs, and medical providers.
Oversee non-benefit company insurance claims.
Primary person in renewing and maintaining commercial insurance policies, including General Liability, Property, Auto, and Work Comp.
Work closely with Safety, Compliance, Operations, and Facilities to mitigate risk.
Coordinate with the TPA and others on claims. This would include internal (operations, subject matter experts) and external (legal, medical, accident reconstructionist, C & O) resources.
Work with both internal and external resources on M & A.
Periodically review external service providers – TPA, Insurance Broker, C & O, and Medical experts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Understand and have a working knowledge of corporate risk management, particularly insurance policies and underwriting.
Excellent communication and working relationship skills with internal personnel and external resources/clients/customers/vendors.
Organizational and time management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Multiple years of risk management experience, preferably as a department of one.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
