What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Site Help Desk Technician position at Forest River, Inc.?
Forest River, Inc., the Nation's largest manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles, Cargo Trailers, Transit Buses and Boats has an immediate opening.
Responsibilities
- Initial support & Help Desk Tickets – for assigned Location(s).
- Setup & configuration of new Personal computers (Load base “Image” Local setup)
- Installation of any special software requiring Admin Access (i.e. Adobe, AutoCAD, UPS, etc.)
- Assist with setup and maintenance of Active Directory accounts.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of Exchange mailboxes.
- Installation and support of LAN equipment – Switches, APs, MFP/Printers, Scanners etc.
- Work with System Administrators on special networking/data center projects.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in C.S. (or related advanced education) - Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems (such as Win10/Win11, etc.) - Required
- Basic understanding of MS Networking and Active Directory - Required
- Knowledge of Citrix Terminal server, beneficial but not required.
- Additional MS Certifications are beneficial, but not required.
- Dependable transportation (business related mileage paid)
- Smartphone for Dept. Communications - Required (monthly expenses paid)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation - required lifting is associated with equipment installations
