Forestdale (FD) is a NYC child welfare agency working to prevent child abuse/neglect through parenting, prevention, and foster care (FC) services, focusing on low-income and immigrant communities in Queens & Brooklyn. We help thousands of families work through acute & complex trauma, parents raise the next amazing generation of children, and youth successfully launch into adulthood. FD’s mission is “to ensure that children and families have the fundamental assets they need to thrive and live independently.”
Job Summary:
Help get the word out about the amazing work Forestdale does! The Development Associate is a high-energy, dynamic multi-tasker responsible for helping Forestdale maintaining a positive and active community engagement program and assist with grant development. This position is a key liaison between Forestdale, our partner organizations, current & prospective funding sources, governmental entities, individual donors, and the community. The Development Associate works closely with Forestdale’s Sr. Community Engagement Officer and Director of Development and executive leadership on strategic engagement initiatives, and grant writing.

Bachelors - $27.47/hr - $30.77/hr
Bachelors (Bilingual)- $28.57/hr - $31.87/hr
