Job Summary:
Assists Administrator by handling a wide variety of situations involving administrative functions of the office Assists Administrator as requested in facilitating effective management of his/her calendar, meetings, travel, correspondence and budget. Develops and prepares presentations and reports. Follows-up on projects and assignments as assigned. Assures that patient concerns are forwarded to the appropriate individuals for rapid evaluation and disposition. Screens telephone calls to ensure they are directed to the appropriate individual for timely attention. Coordinates and schedules designated meetings. Sorts and distributes incoming hospital mail, as needed. Facilitates various assigned segments of hospital operations up to but not limited to employee recognition program, holiday events and community events. Facilitates annual hospital licensure renewal and community health needs assessment activities. Represents the hospital upon request and sometimes in absence of the Administrator. Diffuses and collects information on patient complaints regarding quality and/or billing concerns. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while begin sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Maintains notary status for hospital operations. Coordinates efforts amongst administrative assistants at regional facilities. Manages hospital cell phone account. Assists in physician recruiting activities including working with immigration attorney. Processes reimbursement for physicians for call coverage and CME. Provides backup to Medical Staff Coordinator as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Efficiently transcribes, reports and creates reports, correspondence and coordination of meetings/travel/hospital sponsored events and assists in the marketing of the organization as requested.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related professional area is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft products.
Work Experience:
Three to five years experience in related professional area preferred but not required.
Salary : $42,200 - $53,500
