Job Summary
The Clinic LPN shall begin the implementation of the nursing process as delegated by the Physician/ FNP but not limited to patient care documentation, direct observation and patient process evaluations. Performs under the direct supervision of the Clinic/Office Manager and is delegated to achieve quality patient care and job performance. Has knowledge of the processes, policies and procedures of Forrest Health. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with employees and family members of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. Assist with clinical operations to include education and clerical responsibilities. Responsible for maintaining and assisting with charts and records. Responsible for handling phone calls, daily filing, and opening/closing charts, making copies of patient information for billing department, when needed. Will assist with pre-certing, patient referrals, and seating patients in examining rooms as needed. Will be responsible for filling in when receptionist is out. Will assist with routine courier runs to the hospital as well as make runs to meet field staff to pick up/deliver supplies, etc. Responsible for scheduled physician order runs. Posting charges when needed. Run various computer generated reports. Assist with patient care. Must demonstrate knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups. Perform other duties as assigned.

Graduate of a recognized LPN program.
Work Experience
Physician office or clinic nursing experience preferred. VFC experience preferred.
