Job Summary : # The Sales Clerk is responsible for but not limited to, daily operations of the canteen, opening and preparing store to receive customers for the day, assist customers in gift choices, making selections, and purchasing items.
Prepare deposits and ensure accuracy.# Stock shelves, racks, bins, cases, etc. with merchandise.# Rotate stock as needed, watching for expirables and process for credits.
Ensure product is priced and ready to be displayed for retail. Order merchandise when necessary to ensure adequate inventory levels for customer demand.
This position reports directly to the Director of Volunteer and Guest Services.# Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with the patients, families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
Performance Expectations : Demonstrates ability to utilize Micro Cash Register System. Demonstrates with accuracy cash reconciliation, including register reports.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to maintain stock and inventory par levels. Demonstrates ability to accurately maintain petty cash drawer and make daily deposits.
Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills. Demonstrates accurate opening and closing procedures. Qualifications : Education / Skills : ###### ########### High school diploma or equivalent required.
