Fors Marsh is seeking a motivated research analyst to support a variety of qualitative research efforts in our Evidence and Insights department. This individual will work in a researcher role, supporting tasks across multiple studies concurrently. This person should possess a willingness to learn new skills, methods, or programs and the ability to work as part of the team as well as independently.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the execution of high-quality qualitative research projects.
• Assisting in the development of study materials such as participant screeners and moderator guides.
• Supporting qualitative data collection such as in-depth interviews and focus groups (virtual and in-person).
• Contributing to the analysis of qualitative data (using methods such as thematic analysis and transcript coding) and interpretation of results.
• Assisting in the development of research reports, presentations, and other materials summarizing research methods, findings, recommendations, and implications.
• Assisting in literature reviews and environmental scans.
• Balancing responsibilities across multiple concurrent research studies on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree in social sciences, public policy, or related field.
• Willingness to learn new skills, methods, or programs.
• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently with moderate supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and responsibilities across projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office® products (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel®).
• Experience with at least one statistical analysis software package (SPSS, STATA, and R) and/or qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo) preferred.
• Experience working on applied research projects.
• Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000
