As the Director of Product Management at FocusVision, you will manage and be responsible for all Product management activities and personnel across the entire product stack. This represent over $25m in annual sales and growing double digit every year. The position requires a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision; ability to balance strategic thinking with day to day tasks that achieve business goals; work with internal resources to map innovative solutions to customer problems staying ahead of competitors and a good dose of leadership, people and soft skills.
Communication with all divisions of the company as well as senior leadership team is paramount. The Director of Product Management will work with all the product managers and engineering directors and leaders to oversee product strategy, overall product roadmap, collaborate with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. As the Director of Product Management, you will also exemplify and grow your team into internal and external evangelist for all the product working daily with the sales channel and key customers.
JOB DUTIES:
- You will own, develop and implement the company-wide Product strategy, product roadmap and along with Marketing and Sale department our go-to-market strategies.
- You will provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to your team thriving to hire, grow and develop the best product management team.

You will guide and grow your PM:
- to deliver clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business and development teams, emphasizing the value of new/improved features/functionality
- to work with Global Sales Team to identify gaps and help them achieve quotas by providing the best software solutions possible to customer main pain point and adoption impediments.
- to understand the product and the needs of our customers through research, frequent customer feedback, and through communicating with other stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, service teams, and customer support
- to Use customer feedback, competitive analysis, and other metrics to guide product enhancement
- to Work with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of agile product development
- to Participate in product sprints and representing the customer in product initiatives
- Write requirements documents, maintain and prioritize user stories, and work with UX/UI designers to come up with user-focused solutions, testing prototype interfaces and workflows
- To analyse potential partner relationships for the product
- You will oversee individual product roadmaps, production timetables and prioritize development to ensure the features and functionality we build are coordinated and aligned with business objectives
10 years of experience working in the product management field.- Previous experience leading a product management team in the software industry.
- Previous experience growing and mentoring PM managers
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar field
- Ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or experience in software development and web technologies
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching a product
- Experience and confidence interacting and influencing with the C suite (both internal and customers)
