JOB SUMMARY :
Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.
Responsibilities
- Delivers Parks and Recreation building maintenance materials daily between branches and delivers items from vendors; Loads / unloads bins from vehicle at multiple locations.
- Uses ticketing system to maintain record of repairs.
- Performs electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs as required.
- Responsible for painting facilities.
- Assembles and moves furniture and equipment as needed.
- Maintains routine check on general condition of buildings assigned.
- Pick up trash from parking lot and grounds of all branches.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED.
- 1 year job related experience.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of ticketing software.
- Problem solving and mechanical skills.
- Familiarity with painting tools and materials.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills along with the ability to deal effectively with people.
SALARY : $17.60 - $22.00 hourly based on qualifications
