Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support
- Duplicate and distribute all requests for copying
- Copy all materials in order of receipt or priority
- Collate materials and maintain requestor’s account
- Type correspondence, reports, requisitions, purchase orders, flyers, calendars, memoranda, directory information, handbooks, and other related materials
- Assist in answering incoming calls, deliver messages or other items to teacher and students. and place outgoing calls
- Supervise students before and after school
- Relieve teachers in classroom as assigned
- Greet visitors; respond to inquiries from students, parents, staff, and the public
- Maintain confidentiality of student information

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months General office clerical/secretarial/paraprofessional aide experience
- Ability to learn and adapt to different computer programs and/or databases
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student and district information
- Ability to collaborate effectively with district staff and multiple campuses’ staff, students, and parents
- Ability to organize and maintain accurate student data and information
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with deadlines
