BLT Team Member Expectations:

  • For targeted schools: Continue learning about the ESSA process laid out by the State/Federal Regulations.

  • Actively facilitate weekly grade-level PLC Meetings

  • Engage in the SAMI process for a full day outside of contract time.

  • Uses ESSA (for targeted schools) and building goal data to create an action plan with the BLT team to improve building practices.

  • Collects evidence of ESSA (for targeted schools) and builds goal data through classroom observations to ensure equitable implementation.

  • Support and promote team decisions and beliefs during and outside team meetings when working with colleagues and grade-level teams.

  • Contributes to building-level professional development and/or communication with building goals, progress, and action steps.

  • Attendance:

    • Mandatory full-day meetings on June 7, 11, and August 13.

    • Monthly building-level meetings up to 1 hour.

    • Additional meetings as needed throughout the school year.
