What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Programming Coordinator position at Fort HealthCare?
Fort HealthCare's Community Health & Wellness Department seeks a full-time Community Health Programming Coordinator. This position works with the Department Manager on the organization's community wellness initiatives in the Fort HealthCare service area.
Responsibilities include:
* Markets, creates, sells and finalizes corporate wellness programs and services specific to the needs and initiatives of the corporation and Fort HealthCare's employee wellness initiative.
* Manages worksite wellness portal for Fort HealthCare and local area organizations. Works to improve and increase wellness services to area work sites.
* Implements evidence-based, best practices, behavior change strategies for community health programs, including worksite wellness through health coaching.
* Provides topical community education programming to all area work sites and organizations.
* Works collaboratively with community organizations and leaders to provide support or services to their area, project or cause; develops and conducts awareness campaigns.
* Coordinates and/or provides health screening and education at community events, health fairs, fund-raisers, etc. · * Assists in creating outcomes-focused management reports based on the identified plan goals and objectives.
* Works with Community Program Specialist to process all payments and documentation of payment of classes and evaluate class attendance and documents expenses, income from fees, material cost and other department expenditures or income related to classes and special events.
Qualifications are a Bachelor's Degree, Master's preferred, BLS certification within department guidelines; recertification as needed. Demonstrated experience in the areas of program development and implementation, data collection and analysis and outcome reporting. Additional skills: strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Professional health promotion work experience, preferably in a community setting. Experience with biometric data collection. The ideal candidate should be an energetic and dynamic public speaker and educator. Working knowledge of assessment. Strong organizational, administrative, collaborative, supervisory, and communication skills. Experience in grant writing. The candidate should be creative and capable of managing multiple roles and responsibilities.
