POSITION: Bell Staff
DEPARTMENT: Guest Relations
REPORTS TO: Manager of Guest Operations
POSITION STATUS: FULL TIME
QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:
Greets and escorts guests upon arrival and during the check-out process.
Welcomes guests and opens the car door and/or entrance door.
Assists with baggage to the front desk.
Assists with valet parking of guests’ vehicles.
Stores luggage and issues claim checks as requested.
Escorts guest to the room, placing luggage in the room as directed.
Gives guests thorough orientation of room and property amenities.
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility, and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
Assists guests throughout their stay.
Assists with luggage & valet requests throughout the guest’s stay.
Delivers messages, mail, packages, faxes, flowers, etc. to guests’ rooms as directed.
Collects, returns, and tracks guest laundry & dry cleaning.
Keeps current on and promotes hotel accommodations, services, and area attractions.
Responds to customer inquiries for information.
Assists guests in getting in and out of vehicles.
Transports guests to and from other Fort McDowell Enterprises & Fountain Hills according to the posted schedule.
Follows all safety rules & regulations when operating courtesy shuttles or guest vehicles.
Arranges for other local ground transportation.
Maintains the upkeep and appearance of the hotel lobby and entrance.
Replaces promotional items as needed.
Performs light cleaning.
Keeps valet parking board and baggage storage area clean.
Keeps courtesy shuttle and golf carts fueled and clean.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. and push or pull 100 pounds. Will be required to stand for long periods.
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience at a Golf Resort/Hotel is preferred.
Or similar customer service or guest service experience in a high-service environment
Strong guest service experience
Valet, limo service, driver experience
High school or equivalent education.

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
