CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Seeking Construction Manager with "INDUSTRIAL PLANT CONSTRUCTION" expertise. Work with a leader in the gas industry. Seeking Construction Manager who has over 6 years of construction Management experience, civil construction, able to read P&ID's, construction drawings and BOM.
The Construction Manager is responsible for:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Oversee construction site, general contractors
- Review and approve safe work permits
- Hold production meeting daily, coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent
- Ensure the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract docments and good engineering practices
- Identify, mitigate and track construction issues
- Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and tools and equipment are in good working condition
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities/agencies
- Conduct Pre-startup inspections and maintain checklists
Skills/experience
- Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods
- At least 5 years of industrial construction experience required. oil and gas industry experience is a plus
