First, some of the things you will need include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or other relevant engineering discipline, and at least one year of experience in an Engineering field.
Second, in this position you will be responsible for the innovation and validation of new processes, the improvement of current processes, and the reduction of process variability. You’ll research, develop, and recommend process and equipment improvements/needs for the new products while maintaining the levels of quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction within assigned area. You’ll also provide engineering support for a product or range of products through all phases of product development and manufacturing.
