What are the responsibilities and job description for the Records Clerk position at Fort Wayne Metals?
The things you'll do.
As a Records Clerk, you will scan, index, and prepare for storage, credit notes for accounting and all quality documents relating to the Quality System. You will enter audit information into the audit database, act as backup to the Receptionist, covering lunches and absences, greeting visitors and answering the switchboard. The Records Clerk will create and enter requested reports for plant managers, travel to other facilities for daily dispatch run, picking up sales orders, dispatches, and interoffice mail. You will support the Quality Systems Assistant with administrative functions, assemble customer and Quality Audit packets, send email notification of upcoming audits, and register visitors for Quality Department in the visitor management system.
What we expect from you
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid US driver’s license is necessary for travel.
2 years relevant experience in an office environment preferred.
Work hours consist of 40 hours per week.
Computer skills - Possesses and applies working level understanding of applicable systems.
Reading comprehension - Utilizes written instructions to draw conclusions to help solve problems.
