Position Description

The Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & Database Administrator integrates with company leaders, marketing pursuits and business development to both gather and maintain and strategically utilize Fortis data that is housed in Unanet/Cosential. This position provides continuity for the full sales cycle from tracking through project closeout and subsequent data entry for projects. Similarly, for Fortis People, this position supports personnel data starting from onboarding (headshots, bios, resumes) to assurance that all People on the Fortis website align with the database, to maintaining detailed records for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Will work with all Market Sector Leaders to maintain BD/Lead Log, provide bi-weekly updates, and update Cosential accordingly
  • Will provide reports, personnel data, and client/contact information through Cosential in support of pursuits, communications, and events
  • Contributes to writing and editing content for qualification and proposal submissions, including but not limited to project descriptions and biographies.
  • Gathers, edits and accurately maintains the Knowledge (boilerplate library) module through Cosential and provides content to Marketing Team upon request to support pursuits
  • Creates customized InDesign templates in Unanet/Cosential that meet the needs of Marketing pursuits and branding
  • Tracking, updating and subsequent data maintenance for all Fortis People
  • Tracking, updating and subsequent data maintenance for all Fortis Projects (full sales cycles from BD through closeout and further data entry)
  • Accurate completion of all Job Setup and Job Closeout forms
  • Maintaining the People content of the website to ensure all information aligns with database/HR updates
  • Works across Teams to support the needs of Fortis’ Team of Teams structure (e.g. providing info for and/or editing The Core, providing data/analytics for relevant operational needs, process improvement for forms/closeouts, etc.)
  • Provides bi-weekly sales reports for Operations
  • Interface with Unanet/Cosential for support, maintenance, and enhancements
  • Assist in other duties as assigned, relevant to the achievement of the position’s and team’s objectives.

Position Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Expert in CRM and Database Management (Unanet CRM by Cosential preferred, or similar platform such as Deltek or Salesforce)
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance to Fortis policy

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of CRM and database maintenance
  • Experience in A/E/C industry data management
  • Adobe CC proficient (emphasis on InDesign)
  • Degree or certificate with focus on data maintenance and management and/or Marketing-related field

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a professional office environment. Role is stationary, often standing or sitting for long periods of time, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Communication with internal and external contacts, including speaking and hearing is required. May occasionally push, pull or lift up to 25 lbs.

Travel Requirements

All Fortis positions require some level of driving.
