What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Fortis Industries, Inc. DBA - LTS, Inc.?
Fortis / LTS, Inc. is interviewing for Full-time or Part-time position of Janitor in the Mesa, Phoenix and Glendale areas. The candidate will have experience in Janitorial procedures. Fortis / LTS will provide tools and equipment required for contracted services. Must be able to pass background check to access military facilities/properties. Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the respective facility.
The following are key responsibilities associated with this position:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Gather and empty trash. (facility and perimeter)
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
The regular schedule and hours are somewhat flexible.
