Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager IT – Business Applications, the ERP Analyst - Manufacturing will specialize in applying business processes & ERP application expertise related to but not limited to the supply chain value chain.  You will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Warehouse Management teams and processes.  This role is responsible for working as part of a team to architect & implement process solutions leveraging the Oracle Cloud Suite, as well as supporting tools.  This position will lead or participate in the design, configuration, and support of applications within the Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud. Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, the configuration of standard applications, gap analysis and design, and end-user support for multiple application modules in multiple geographies

  • Leverage industry expertise to achieve best in class solutions
  • Make recommendations for future state business processes and solutions that meet or exceed expressed business needs
  • Use influence to drive better and more robust solutions.
  • Foster strong communications between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
  • Lead business users to identify functional cases and establish test scenarios and results.
  • Seamless integration within Manufacturing, WMS, and Order Management processes.
  • Ownership of certain business modules in the end to end value chain.
  • Manage project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment cutover and acceptance.
  • Provide solution architecture guidance and recommendations for systems and processes.
  • Embraces and leads business process methodology and recommends needed changes.
  • Support software applications in a client server and web-based environment.
  • Maintain awareness of latest technologies, business capabilities, and industry techniques that expand knowledge of project management tools, requirements assessment methodologies, continuous improvement capabilities, and business intelligence tools. Support and drive long term road map.
  • Create documents for: business requirements, system configuration, detailed functional design, test plans/test cases, and user training and implementation. 
  • Create SQL queries against Oracle tables to troubleshoot, develop metrics, and create ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Provide day to day and on-call second tier end-user application support, as appropriate.
  • Work with business customers, developers and Oracle Support to research, document and resolve Oracle system issues. 
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of relevant work experience in IT system analysis.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience working on Oracle on-premise or Cloud suites, Oracle OBIEE.
  • Experience with on premise to cloud migrations – preferably with Oracle
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data, optimizing and documenting complex business processes.
  • Experience working with integrated systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend solutions that meet or exceed needs within project/program.
  • Industry experience in specific business and ERP modules in one or more major functional areas such as: Discrete Manufacturing, Inventory, Quality, ASCP, etc.
  • Effective communication/presentation/facilitation skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to conceptualize an applications’ solution based on business requirements, pain points, and data challenges
  • Ability to forge business relationships and work in a fast team-base environment.
  • Previous experience gathering complex business requirements, process flows, and use-case scenarios.
  • Embraces established documentation standards, procedures/guidelines and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong project management skills including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and MS Office applications.
