- Provide daily direction and assist personnel to do the following:
- Maintain all facilities, restrooms and conference rooms.
- Prepare the facilities for events from outside and internal (meetings, tours). Set up meeting rooms as required and provide all necessary materials.
- Handle the maintenance of the facilities and grounds through the seasonal changes by coordinating the use of outside suppliers of services and repairs. Direct facility grounds maintenance such as watering, weeding and perform snow removal, applying ice melt etc. Perform housekeeping duties for all yards, parking lots, driveways, and vehicle garage.
- Ensure maintenance, production and office supplies are picked up timely.
- Schedule maintenance of all company vehicles and keep vehicles clean.
- Assist with company events as needed.
- Perform maintenance duties, order and maintain proper supplies for Wellness Center to include, but not limited to, cleaning supplies, pool chemicals, and day-to-day items.
- Communicate to contractors as needed regarding special projects or tasks.
- Communicates comments/concerns of personnel to supervisor. Recommends corrective action for employees where appropriate.
- Analyzes and resolve work problems, and/or assist personnel in solving work problems.
- Promotes workplace safety by assuring universal precautions and safe work practices are used, assures fire/safety/disaster plans are established and communicated to all department personnel, participates in risk management assessments, maintains security and/or corrects unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate training of new employees including delegation of workload in the area.
- Motivate employees to achieve work goals.
- Ensure departments operate at acceptable efficiency levels and all equipment and machines are kept in working order.
- Control the inventory of supplies within the area of responsibility.
