What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hydrostatic Tester position at Forza Pipeline Services?
Job Responsibilities include:
- Knowing and following all safety rules, regulations, and guidelines at all times
- NCCER or equivalent certified pressure test OQ for pipeline (current OQ not required but must have the ability to be certified immediately upon hiring)
- Maintaining company equipment to include company vehicle, test rig, test equipment and ensuring that all company equipment is maintained for safety requirements including burst plates, psv's, whip checks, etc....
- Ensuring all equipment is calibrated and documentation is maintained
- Acquire test parameters from client and adhering to all test parameters and procedures regarding pressure testing including all standard types of tests (hydro, nitrogen, air)
- Knowledge of gauges used including digital gauges, dead weights, pressure and temperature recorders
- Ability to follow all company SOP's outlining means and method of testing to customers specific parameters
- Mobilizing truck, test rig, and any other equipment required to perform pressure test to and from location
- Ability to operate pressure pump to "water up" pipeline prior to pressure test
- Operate all equipment to pressure up the pipe to get "on test"
- Monitor all equipment, gauges, and recorders as the test is in process
- Knowledge on after test procedures to dewater/dry pipeline
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
