Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
-Prepare and serve food items as needed, including light fare.
- Take and process drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell and promote drink specials and menu items
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, and drink preparation
- Proficient in using POS systems, such as Micros POS, to process orders and payments
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating bills
- Flexibility to work in various settings, including catering events or banquets
