What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Fossil?
The CRM Business Analyst will be the key partner between our Global Marketing and SalesForce Marketing Cloud Engineering team, with the ultimate goal of ensuring a better, more personalized experience for our millions of global consumers. As a member of our IT Digital Center of Excellence, you will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Sr. Solution Manager. Your main tasks will include improving, evolving, and defining detailed requirements globally for enablement, support/operational, and journey work across all Fossil Group, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role you should have a growth mindset and distinct individual agility in addition to a natural analytical way of thinking and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
What You’ll Do
- Engage cross-functionally with CRM, Analytics, and IT teams to elicit input, and feedback on key projects and create and manage one unified priority list for Development work based on business impact and evolving needs
- Standardize, maintain and groom business requirements documentation, journey blueprinting, and JIRA tickets for new developer support tasks, marketing journeys, SFMC toolkit enablement, and global 3rd party integrations
- Capturing key views of the business and translating to applicable requirements for technology delivery
- Provide project management at scale to support the CRM Roadmap, ensuring both regional and global alignment by effectively communicating new releases, timelines and deliverables
- Lead Sprint Planning meetings to ensure prioritized initiatives are scoped and assigned to technical developers based on evolving business needs
- Work with Developers once they have drafted technical requirements, to ensure business requirements are met and all testing environments are considered as part of proposed technical QA plan
- Liaise with business group representatives and stakeholders across the Fossil Organization to help identify automation opportunities of existing processes leveraging MarTech applications
- Educate internal global marketing teams on SalesForce Marketing Cloud capabilities, providing options to help reach CRM Strategic goals
