A talented Social Media Copywriter will help the Fossil owned group of brands connect with our customers. We are on a mission to create meaningful connections with accessory enthusiasts and luxury watch owners. Each Fossil brand has a unique tone of voice and approach to communication. From understanding the nuances between digital platform communication styles to collaborating with the rest of the PR & Social media department to deliver stand out headlines, video captions and product summaries. We are looking for someone who can elevate our brand communications on social media.

- Ability to synthesize key messages to deliver high performing copy
- Continuous learner who stays up to date on best practices and trends in organic and branded social media content
- Ability to monitor conversations with customers as needed and engage with the audience and platform appropriately - in partnership with customer service
- Experience creating content for key platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
Responsibilities
- Create compelling and effective copy for social media posts and distributed content.
- Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand the company's brand and messaging, and create copy that aligns with each Fossil owned brand
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of writing, and make copy strategy adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with the rest of the social media team, global marketing and product category leaders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in marketing and social media copywriting
- Conduct social media platform research to understand the target audience for each brand and create relevant and engaging copy to drive engagement and positive sentiment
- Measure and report on the success of copy impact using social media insights tools
- Identify and resolve challenges and issues within the social media copywriting process
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the company's marketing copywriting process
- Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
Salary : $45,900 - $58,100
