REPORTS TO: Restaurant Manager

COMPENSATION: this is a tipped role with an expected rate of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

HOURS PER WEEK: Varies – Part Time & Full Time

DAYS REQUIRED: Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays including afternoons and evenings

Originally utilized as a summer retreat in the early 1900s, this 55 acre property features 32 guest rooms, across the Main Inn and standalone Bungalows. The property offers a fine dining experience by Foster Supply Hospitality’s award-winning culinary team, outdoor lake-view seating and a full bar, multiple common areas and full service spa.

Kenoza Hall’s restaurant team is committed to making our guests stay the most memorable it can be. Whether it’s pouring a hot cup of coffee at breakfast, or providing exceptional service at an anniversary dinner, our Front of House team is always on the guests’ side. Our servers learn the ropes of day to day operations as well as executing special events from corporate retreats to weddings. Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required - a hospitality mindset is necessary.

What You’ll Do:

• At Foster Supply Hospitality we are a Team. The first and largest expectation and duty is that of being a productive, positive and willing member of a dynamic team.
• Serving tables and providing a high level of customer service for an overall excellent guest experience
• Learning and utilizing the property’s POS system
• Collecting payments and managing the cash drawer
• Working with the restaurant supervisor to meet the needs of service and other administrative tasks
• Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the restaurant
• Meeting the needs of hotel guests and restaurant patrons
• Support with weddings and other private and public events
• Ensuring compliance with all company safety protocols, including those specific to Covid-19

Where You’ll Work:

5762 NY-52, Kenoza Lake, NY 12750

Work will be performed usually indoors, with regular travel between buildings year-round. Have a keen understanding of all guest spaces within the property, including all rooms, grounds, common spaces.

Physical Requirements:

This position can be physically demanding – standing, stooping, crouching, traveling between buildings outdoors, and performing repetitive tasks for a long period of time. Walking up and down stairs may be required. Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
