What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategic Sales Director of Cross-Sell position at Foundation Software?
Position Summary
Foundation Software, a rapidly growing national provider of construction software and services, is seeking a full-time, on-site, Strategic Sales Director of Cross-Sell. This position will report directly to the CRO and is focused on developing a cross-sell model to current customers for Foundation Software's product suite. In addition to this, the candidate will manage our internal cross-sell sales team and work alongside marketing and senior leadership.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies aimed at increasing the value of client accounts.
- Identify strategic cross-selling opportunities with existing accounts.
- Develop strategies specifically aimed at moving customers from their first purchase to their second, third, fourth and beyond.
- Execute all duties in a professional, responsive, and collaborative manner.
- Project a positive, cooperative image as a representative of the company aiding associates, clients and other third parties whenever possible.
- Travel may be required as part of the job responsibilities.
Drive Repeat Purchases
- Work with marketing and sales leadership to identify and target segments of one-time buyers with personalized campaigns that encourage repeat buying behavior.
- Engage with our client success teams to build out cross-sell referral program.
Customer Insights & Analytics
- Ability to dive deep into customer data and identify trends, behaviors, and opportunities for engagement.
- Using analytics to inform and refine marketing and sales initiatives ensuring they resonate with our audience.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience. Background in software sales helpful.
- A strong understanding or equivalent experience in cross selling multiple product lines is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the construction industry, including its platforms and software solutions a plus but not required.
- Proven ability to manage and lead at team of quota-carrying representatives.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills that facilitate seamless collaboration with stakeholders, clients, and colleagues.
- Past usage of Salesforce CRM helpful
