Founders RX is seeking a skilled and compassionate courier to join our team and play a pivotal role in providing safe and timely delivery of medication to our partners. Job Duties: Safe Medication Transportation: Safely transport medications from pharmacies to healthcare facilities, homes, or clinics while adhering to all safety regulations. Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient medication deliveries. Medication Verification: Accurately verify and cross-check medications before delivery to ensure the correct medications are being transported. Maintain Medication Integrity: Handle medications with care, ensuring they remain in the proper storage conditions to maintain their integrity and effectiveness. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of medication deliveries, including recipient signatures, delivery times, and any discrepancies. Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with pharmacy staff, healthcare professionals, and clients regarding delivery schedules and any special instructions. Adherence to Regulations: Adhere to all state and federal regulations governing the transportation of medications, including proper licensing and certifications. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working order. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients or healthcare providers. Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies or unforeseen delays, ensuring medications reach their destination safely and promptly. Qualifications: Valid Driver's License: A valid Colorado driver's license with a clean driving record is typically required. Clean drug screen and background check Reliability: Dependability is crucial; medication couriers must be punctual and reliable to ensure timely deliveries. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail is essential to prevent medication errors during transportation. Time Management: Effective time management skills to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry packages, including sometimes heavy medication deliveries. Knowledge of Medications: Basic knowledge of medications and their handling requirements is an advantage. Security Consciousness: An understanding of the importance of medication security and confidentiality. Communication Skills: Good communication skills for interacting with pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and clients. Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly resolve any delivery-related issues or challenges. Adherence to Regulations: Knowledge of and adherence to state and federal regulations related to medication transportation.
